A must-attend event for road and urban transport, the I-nnovation AWARDS recognise innovations presented by SOLUTRANS exhibitors that contribute to improving the performance of companies in the sector.

Since 2019, the I-nnovation AWARDS have been organised by the FFC in a revamped format with a new graphic identity, redesigned award criteria and an expanded jury. The jury is composed of technical managers from commercial vehicle manufacturers, recognised professionals from the sector (partner transport federations, competitiveness clusters, etc.) and specialist journalists. Finally, the new trophies presented to the winners are unique creations by an artist.

Out of nearly a hundred entries, 22 innovations were selected: 6 in the Bodybuilders category, 7 in the Equipment Manufacturers category, 7 in the ‘Digital AWARD’ category and finally 2 in the new ‘Cargo Bike’ category.

It should be noted that a ‘Joseph LIBNER Special Prize’, in tribute to the former President of the FFC, was awarded to a company for an innovation with a particular environmental dimension, in the Bodybuilders and Equipment Manufacturers categories.

The winners were announced at the official awards ceremony on Tuesday 18 November at the Parilly racecourse. The following prizes were awarded:

  • 3 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the Equipment Manufacturers category;
  • 3 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the Body Builders category;
  • 2 Digital AWARD prizes in the ‘software publishing’ and ‘connectivity solutions’ categories.
  • 2 Joseph LIBNER special awards in the Body Builders and Equipment Manufacturers categories.
  • 2 special cargo bike awards, highlighting the significant innovations in this rapidly evolving new sector, which is becoming more professional and delivering disruptive innovations. These awards were presented by the SOLUTRANS trade show and the FFC
