The 2025 edition of SOLUTRANS confirmed the need for professionals in road freight transport (RFT) to have an event capable of catalyzing industry trends and supporting its evolution. It is within this context that the FFC, organizer of the SOLUTRANS show, will host Les Rencontres de la Filière on October 22, 2026. This day of forward-thinking discussions will provide a status update on the key challenges in the industrial & urban vehicle sector and open up discussions on the future of the industry, one year before SOLUTRANS 2027.

Les Rencontres de la Filière 2026: A Day at the Heart of Road Freight Transport Issues

As usual, Les Rencontres de la Filière will provide an opportunity for professionals to engage in numerous discussions about topics that are impacting the sector. These discussions will be structured around 3 roundtables moderated by a panel of industry professionals, experts, and European officials. Key themes for discussion include:

• The financing of the energy transition in the transport sector, particularly the increased responsibility of shippers in the new European regulatory framework.

• Reconditioning and recycling of industrial vehicles, in an era where the end-of-life of trucks has become both an economic and ecological issue.

• The entry of Chinese manufacturers into the electric zero-emission heavy truck sector, focusing on the impacts and opportunities for European players.

Additionally, the presentation of the “Industry Personality” Award and a preview of the 2027 edition of SOLUTRANS will also be part of the day’s events.
